The Sarooq design takes its name from a village in Markazi Province in western Iran, but this piece is produced in the Central Asian tradition. The curvilinear geometric pattern with botanical undertones sits between the fully tribal and the fully classical. Woven in pure wool on wool at 64 knots per square inch.
The all-light tan ground at 4 ft 3 in x 6 ft 8 in is warm and understated. The neutral palette sits comfortably with a wide range of wall colours and furnishing styles. Wool on wool construction gives excellent durability and a pleasant density underfoot.
In your home: Works in sitting rooms, bedrooms and studies. The tan ground pairs with natural timber, linen and warm toned walls.
